Museum「TEXTURE」

You can discover what different kinds of textile look like through a microscope.
With great interest we can study the dollar bills, that for 25 percent are made out of flax. And so the dollar bills have a strong resistance to water.
In 2014 the Vlas Museum, which opened in 1982 in Kortrijk, was moved to a new space on the Leie river and renamed Texture.The museum has been remade as a space where visitors learn about flax and linen with all the five senses.
